last thursday, I kinda complained to my Liason Officer (LO) about working Over Time (OT) and not getting paid, but instead, was given off in lieu. I think there was a miscommunication between me and my LO, as he went to lodge a complain to my company's Human Resource (HR) personnel, which reported the case to my supervisor. This kinda ticked him off.
I was not aware of the steps that they had taken. This is my first time working in an “Office environment”, and I do not know much about “office politics” and how it works. It's obvious as i didn't keep to the rules much.
Today, my supervisor talked to me about being calculative on such matter, blah blah blah, and you know, it can can spell trouble if my supervisor starts to be super calculative about my work time (as I am late sometimes, once a week or so).
I realised that what he said was quite true, that i shouldn't be so calculative, and a Bible verse came to my mind..
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Matthew 7: 1-2 (NKJV)
Well, I guess it's give & take, like what my supervisor said, and I'm felt very grateful though the day, thanking God for everything, as though expecting something good had to happen since morning. And i still thank God for allowing this incident to happen, to help me realise my faults.
What a weird feeling!
I just wanted to share my thoughts on the cellgroup's blog, it's my first time anyway, haha.
