Group Vision Statement
Singular and Steadfast for God
Key Verse
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Supporting Verses
Numbers 14:24
But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.
Daniel 6:23
The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
Jeremiah 32:39-41
I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.
John 15:19
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Explanation
To be Singular is to be distinctive and exceptional, and to be steadfast is to be resolute and firm in belief.
Indeed that is our desire for each and ever individual within Daniel. That they would be different from the world and unwavering in their faith in days such as these, where it is so easy to be swayed.
Daniel group hopes to meet the (social, emotional, esteem, actualization and spiritual) needs of the youth which it has been entrusted with in Christ’s love.
Our focus will be on the purposes we have been called to this earth for, namely Connecting, Growing, Serving, Surrender and Sharing, and activities and programs will be planned with these purposes in mind.
More than anything, we hope that through the time we spend together, that we will be able to be built up in Christ-likeness.

Hi all,
Jus wanna say it's great being in Daniel group with each and every one of you. Hope you guys are liking it here, but more importantly, that you are growing. But anyway juz wanna share wad the Lord has been doing in my life lately, so that u guys may be encouraged.
Recently I have been very busy with many assignments and projects which had to be handed in. Furthermore, I was having difficulty with some of my project group members. Everything just looked extremely bleak, and at times I felt that things would only get worse. The temptation to give up was there all the time.
However through it all, God was teaching me to rely on Him in Faith. To cast all my cares on Him (Matt 11:28, 1 Peter 5:7), and to focus on things above (Col 3:2), not what I can see with my eyes. And through it all somehow i always found the strength to push on. And now, I am starting to see that things are beginning to work out. What seemed like a problem in the past was actually an opportunity to learn and grow stronger.
In short, wadeva u are going thru in life, always live for eternity, and trust that God will pull u thru it. Thanks for reading! Cya guys in LG! =)

haha. it’s amazing how our group has bonded much more in such a short time of splitting! Most of us are coming regularly for YPM now, sitting together and going for dinner together. I pray that we will “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 I really want to see us opening up and keeping each other accountable as the days go by so that we can build each other up in Christ!
I found a job! Yay! Praise God! I wanted to find a job that had a reasonable pay (average market rate) and one that will let me learn something. Problem was, I didn’t know what kind of job I wanted! So I just applied for many admin jobs. I heard many people say that looking for a job is difficult, but I prayed about it, hoping that I would make the most out of this part-time work. I didn’t want to just make money and spend the months not learning anything. Well, one week later, a company called me up for interview! I went and.. haha. got the job! They just asked me whether I just finished A levels and when I wanted to start and stop work. All right! So there.. Starting work on 1st feb! Pray that I’ll work hard and bring glory to God!
